Captured

I’ll want to frame his kisses,
write them down, keep them in deep pockets
and tightened in jars.

Much like a starlit sky,
warm summer sand
or the wowest we’ve ever felt (x infinity),

if only I could keep them (these magic moments),

I’d never have to wish for them ever,
not even once,
ever again.

        You should. You have a good voice. If I can say this, you have a clear voice too. A lot of poets try to be obscure and hide meanings in what they’re writing, until the hiding is more important than the poetry, and you spend your time guessing what the heck they were getting at… which is a waste of time, unless done perfectly. Your voice is clear.
