Readers enjoying my boring posts may be deterred when learning that on Skype last night I played a wild and crazy game of Go Fish with my gentleman friend’s seven-year old daughter. She won. Twice.
Then he and I ate couscous together and I had a glass of wine. On a Wednesday. I know, I need to take it down a notch.
He just sent me a text saying he is starving. I am pretty hungry, too.
Anyway, back to last night. After we spoke, I tried to take a good picture of my dog and I to send out in Christmas cards. I didn’t really get the result I wanted:

We will try again this weekend.
Say, I just noticed that today I am not wearing socks. Dear me, perhaps I should have placed a “viewer discretion is advised” before that tidbit. I hope you aren’t cross. Please don’t be worried or frightened if your mind continues to be blown until dusk.

Hmmm, yes, I’m starting to see your point. If you’re not careful, your nights will soon resemble mine. La la would not play Go Fish with a seven-year-old girl; she would play Strip Go Fish with the father. And then it wouldn’t only be socks she was missing…

I am enjoying these sarcastic novelty type posts. It is making me realize my life is equally as exciting as Lauren’s. Minus the hot Skype date. La La would be playing strip go fish with the guy instead of the child though. Right? I must say I do want to know more about this mysterious Skype gent either way.

Your dog really is adorable and Lauren impresses me by thinking of Christmas card photos so early on. I tend to feel closer to La La because she drinks and eats dog food sometimes. I am more like her I guess! But I really like both of you.
